Rifat Masud

My name is Rifat Masud, currently working for T Sports, the only Bangladeshi Sports Channel. Based in Dhaka I mostly cover local and international football. I’ve been working as a Sports Journalist for almost 10 years now. Started during my undergraduate days, I was initially working for a website. After working there for more than 5 years, I started working for T Sports. I have been lucky enough to cover FIFA 2022 World Cup, AFC Champions League, AFC Cup, SAFF Championship. Apart from reporting from the site I do football commentary. My work as a broadcaster or journalist is broadly divided into three sections- reporting, analyzing, taking interviews; hosting show from studio and ground; doing commentary. Be it Football or Cricket, Bangladesh as a country have huge potential in sports. The sports media here is improving. I’d love to cover Bangladesh and Bangladeshi sports on international level like Olympics or World Cup.
